Ye Olde Red Lion Hotel dating back to the early sixteenth century is situated in the picturesque village of Market Bosworth in Leicestershire.

The Red Lion is a traditional Old English Public House providing a wide variety of real ales and home cooked meals.  We have accommodation available, beer garden, smoking area, large car park and friendly staff. We hold a challenging quiz night on the first Sunday of the month as well as live entertainment at various times during the year.

Market Bosworth village was recorded in the Domesday Book and is famously known for the ‘Battle of Bosworth Field’ which took place nearby in 1485.

There are many local attractions nearby including Snibstone Discovery Park, National Space Centre, Twycross Zoo, Warwick Castle,  Drayton Manor Park and Zoo and Mallory Park.

Within the village you may like to visit the village shops and on the last Sunday of the month there is a local farmers market.  There are other attractions such as Market Bosworth Water Park and Bosworth Country Park.
